Experience in Aerospace Engineering, with an emphasis on satellites and other aerospace devices, working mainly on attitude control, structures and mechanisms, systems engineering and project management. He held the position of head of the Integration and Testing Laboratory (LIT) at INPE, and the position of Director in the Directorate of Space Policy and Strategic Investments (DPEI) at AEB. He works in the Planning, Budget and Evaluation Coordination of INPE (COPOA), as Academic Director of the International Academy of Space Studies (IASS).
